Title: Weather Display Help - Auto uploading not happening.

@TokWW (http://www.localweather.net.nz/smf/index.php?action=profile;u=5)  or any WD user - hopefully one of you may be able to help.

From Mark:

Beckenham is using WD. The latest version that can out in December.

What seems to be happening is that you have to manually click START NOW in the Real time clientraw upload for the client viewer/AVG/WDL setup, when WD is first turned on each day.

This then uploads the clientraw.txt and updates the map, banner etc.
WD continues to upload for around 1 hour and then stops.

Where can Mark configure this so it will automatically upload and continue to upload while the PC is switched on.

But you also have to keep clicking"start now" to keep the data uploading to the map every hour or so.

Just a flying guess. On that page, half way down on LHS there is a section that is titled Restart / Reset Interval. Mine is set to 30 minutes with the "restart instead of Login" option checked.

If it's not there is there anything in the FTP log that suggests what might be going on. I remember also there were issues on some servers with the "rename the file as a temp file" option also on that page. If the server didn't support that it produces some odd results if that option is ticked.

Jenny, I'll have a look after I've had the pork chops and vegies i have just cooked LOL!  Oh, and the wine. :)

Hi

No on that screen shot second box down left hand side, where it says "Rename the file as a temporary file". That said on mine it's third line down. I'm fairly sure my version isn't the latest!

Thanks guys for your help here.
The only things that i did not tick were the "set create times to do this as well"
Also had Becky on "restart/reset interval" set at 5 minutes. I will change to 30minutes as well when i go to mums later today.
