Title: New Zealand Top40 Weather Station Sitelist.

As you will all have noticed with the missing button on your website, The New Zealands Top Weather website list has been offline for a few weeks now. Have tried emailing them to no effect.

Personally i enjoy having the Top WX Station list as it also helps to keep you up to date with other personal weather stations in NZ (Admit it, you like to check out other PWS too!)

Hey we are all in this because WE ENJOY IT!

Getting to the point, I have started another topsite's weather station list. Yes, and before i get grief, I do also own Feilding Weather (www.feildingweather.com), but i have NO INTEREST in using the top sites list as an advantage for Feilding Weather!

If you're keen to get your Weather Site back onto a New Zealand Only, 100% Legit top sites list then head on over to : New Zealand Top40 Weather Station Sites (NZTOP40WXS) - www.nztop40wxs.com  - was www.nztop40wxs.tk  while in testing stage.

Please Note: Joining the list with Gmail addresses will not be accepted!

Look forward to adding your station to the list and getting the New Zealand PWS Sitelist humming again!

Well I tried to add sites but an error message keeps coming up:

Your submission contains content that has been banned by NZTop40WXS.

Maybe I should take out the swear words :)

Apparently gmail accounts are banned.
Use a different email addy.

Yeah sorry people, Due to the amount of fake accounts / spammers attempting to sign up using
gmail addresses i have had to ban the use of gmail addresses.

Sure some swear words will do it too Jenny but the most likely culprit for the banned message will be gmail!

Hmmm, can't seem to progress past the landing page where it asks for Vote or No Vote.
Is that just me or ?????

That works ok for me.
What I am finding is the banners are not all loading.

Try a different browser Wolfie.

and its back up for me in the last few mins.

JL  My experience is the banner page doesn't like Ad Blockers

Something I've noticed . . . the banner page view count doesn't update that much, so I donned my sleuth hat.

Although the html page has a no cache meta field, the header response indicates there is a 48 hour cache.
So for the moment, to get the latest, you need to do a page refresh/reload/ctrlF5 or whatever.

The updating seems to be working okay for me. It turns at midnight.
I still only have half the banners showing.
The other top sites are all fine with all banners showing so not my browser I guess.

Hey All,

Sorry haven't checked in on this page for a few days. For troubles with banners not showing completely please disable your ADBLOCKER while browsing http://www.nztop40wxs.com (http://www.nztop40wxs.com) (i had the same problem myself). The site does not contain or have any plans of containing any advertising...

Also, my apologies for the few bugs people have come across, I wasn't receiving notifications for the post so have updated some of my details now should be right with notifications :)

The Voting gateway issue should now be resolved and i will work to continue "ironing out bugs"

I suspect there may still be something not quite working right  :-\

My weekly and monthly (this month only obviously) figures are about 70-75% of the same figures on the World websites ranking. Also whenever I go to my website the counter always says 25 hits for the day and I am still ranked at number 1.

This appears to be the same for other sites too

Here's what I see iomkiwi, 36 today avg 118.4 Rank #3.
Maybe a local cache issue?

Hey Guys,

Dont think it's a local cache issue. My Shocking webhost seems to be intermittently blocking Ip address's (including my own). I spent 2 1/2 hours on the phone with them last night and 12 hours later they assure they have found and fixed the problem.

If issues continue to happen with my current host i will be letting them know in no uncertain terms where to "put their hosting" and bringing my sites back to my own local hosting.

Apologies for the issues, if you want quality hosting dont use Crazy Domains!
