{I will reserve my opinion about New PLym. EWS readings for a while yet - going by the results from EWSs installed so far - but that's for later....}

Tom, our MTD is horrible (quite unlike almost every other March since 1987!!) - only 108.9 up to 26th. It will improve, but it's inevitable that the Jan-March YTD will be a record low, even including older sites going back to 1907. The inter-equinox months Oct-March will also get a record low, but there's no threat to the rolling 12-month record yet, thank providence.

I can send you a photograph of sunlight, if it is of any help.
But seriously, even common wisdom indicates that this Season has been not what one expects

I think your sun records with the new equipment may be OK - after all the anomalies have been NE/E/SE. The acid test is the readings obtained when more normal westerly service is resumed for a few months.

Must go and walk in the sun, to make the most of it.

Fine and sunny all day, with clear skies. Little wind at first, then a light to moderate ENE breeze in the afternoon, dying away towards sunset. Mild pm temps.
