Summary for the Week 25th of July to 31st of July 2016
Week's Summary compiled from 106 Member Weather Stations.
Another week of cold nights across many of our South Island Stations. Those hitting under -3.0°C were:
Castle Hill, Barhill, Waikouiti, Bishopdale, Arthur's Pass, Cheviot, Fairfield and Ashburton.
Strong winds once again with 75% of our stations reporting gusts of over 50km/per hr. Also some high windrun totals with 5 stations recording over 1000 km passing across their stations in one day: Awhitu, Waikawa Beach, Wiritoa, Dargaville and Kapiti Coast Airport.
