Title: Can someone explain how the wmr200history.txt file works?
Post by: choc-a-holic on July 15, 2016, 11:52:34 AM
We have had power cuts and I have missed data as my laptop hibernated.  I want to go and pick up that data as we have had a lot of rain.  I used to have a window open on startup which allowed me to change the settings to look for data at an earlier time but this has gone and I understand you use the wmr200history.txt file.  I have had a look at this file and it says it is looking for data from 09:29 am 01/03/16 so I am not so sure this file is being used.  I am running WD version 10.37S13

I don't want to play with it just in case I lose data.  So can someone tell me what I should be doing please?

I see the WRM200 has a data logger which presumably is working?
Have you checked out the data logging section of the Control Panel of W/Display?

You can restore data from the logger from there. Check the WD manual for details on how to do it.

cheers
