Hi all
With the anniversary of the forum occuring a few days ago, iomkiwi has let us know that he would like to discontinue his role as an admin on the forum. A big thank you Alan for all your help over the past four years, particularly in updating the NZLWN map. It's always sad to see admins go, but doing so has freed up additional time for Alan which he can now devote to his new project. I'm looking forward to seeing how you have modified that ambulance ;-) . iomkiwi will still be about on the forum, so he's not leaving us totally for his ambulance!
Jenny and I discussed the options this left us and we've shared the admin duties out between us. However I'm please to say that Wolfie has stepped into the role as a general moderator in the forum, for which we are extremely thankful for. I'm sure everyone will have seen Wolfie about on the forum already and it's great to have someone keen on shaping the forum, as part of the moderation team.
So it's a farewell and thanks to iomkiwi and thanks and welcome to Wolfie

Always sad to see a 'responsible' person go, but I know wolfie has been busy in the background for quite a while ... so continuity prevails.
Best fortunes to all

Thanks indeed Alan. All the best 8)

Always appreciate the behind, and up front, work that is done my those that make things happen and available for our use. Without their work it wouldn't happen. Thanks iomkiwi for your time and efforts in this. And also to the others that continue to make it happen.

LOL - I read that as "the responsible person go". Actually that's probably quite true ;-)

Thank you Guys for the kind words, and fair dues to iomkiwi for all your past efforts. :)
May your travels be joyous ones!
The Admin'trix has assured me I'll have sweet fa to do (no people, that's "fanny adams") . . . we shall see LoL.
Oh, and iomkiwi, would love to see some snappies of the project sometime.
Cheers

Thanks for the comments guys 'n gals, it's been an interesting few years.
As gabba mentioned, I will still be around, just not as frequently - and as I know where you all live from doing the map I may come and check out your station onroad rather than online :D (Note to self - must get hat to match coat, so weatherbuffs will recognise me)
I'm sure Wolfie will help keep the entire operation in safe hands.
...and yes I will put some pics up somewhere, sometime but I have to get the thing ready to use (even if not finished) for the bi-annual Wanaka trip.
