I'm going back along the way of Martin's original guess, a wicker basket to transport people - i.e. a hot air balloon basket!

Is it the inside of a very big light, I know you say no to Lighthouse but there are other lights. Fire Engine?? Bus?? Train?? Ship even?? Looks a bit flimsy to be a hot air balloon basket.

It does look like a basket I guess but no to basket.
No to light Valerie in fact it is just the opposite to flimsy.

Is it something to do with the underground as in Tube. We have been watching a doco on TV on how some clever people can bore under London with this huge machine.  Is that big enough or do we go space ship size. I do enjoy this guess what it is game.
