Title: Forecast in Brief for Monday 15th June 2015

Northland to Taumarunui and Taupo, also Coromandel and Bay of Plenty
Occasional showers, but long fine spells about Bay of Plenty. Showers becoming confined to Northland this evening.

Taranaki, Taihape, Wanganui and Manawatu
Showers increasing this morning, with snow affecting the Desert Road, easing tonight.

Gisborne to Wairarapa, also Kapiti and Wellington
Cold southerlies and occasional rain spreading north this morning, reaching Gisborne this afternoon.

Marlborough and Nelson
Fine spells, and a few showers clearing this evening.

Buller and Westland
Remaining showers clearing this morning, and becoming fine.

Canterbury
Showers clearing from the south this morning then mainly fine, but showers returning to Banks Peninsula this evening with snow to 500 metres.

Otago, Southland and Fiordland
Cold and showery, with possible thunder and hail about the coast, and snow to low levels this morning.
