Title: Flooding wreaks havoc in Dunedin - Update 4th June 2015
Post by: JennyLeez on June 04, 2015, 10:47:49 AM
Dunedin is in clean up mode today as floodwaters start to recede.

Power is out for 160 households, up to 30 homes are flooded, schools are closed and many roads are blocked as a massive clean-up gets under way in Dunedin.
Flooding washed away roads, caused slips, left debris strewn across the city and contaminated water with sewage.

MetService data showed Dunedin received 164mm of rain throughout Wednesday.

Thursday's forecast suggests the rain should begin to clear later in the morning.
