Northland
Showers, some heavy and thundery, easing this morning and becoming isolated.
Auckland to Taranaki, also Coromandel, Bay of Plenty and Taupo
Occasional showers clearing this morning, but the odd shower may return to Auckland this evening.
Gisborne to Wairarapa and Wellington
Showers, mainly coastal. Southerly gales about Wellington and the east coast.
Wanganui and Taihape to Horowhenua Kapiti Coast
A few showers easing this morning and fine spells developing.
Marlborough to Southland
Scattered showers, clearing this morning. However a few showers lingering about Southland, Banks Peninsula and the Kaikoura Coast. Southwesterly gales about Banks Peninsula and the Kaikoura Coast.
Nelson, and Buller to Fiordland
Fine.
