Northland
A few showers clearing this morning and becoming fine.
From Auckland to Taranaki, including Bay of Plenty and the central high country
Fine at first. Cloud increasing south of Hamilton this afternoon or evening.
Gisborne to Wairarapa
Cloud and the odd shower in Wairarapa, clearing this morning and becoming fine everywhere.
Wanganui to Wellington
Fine, however, cloud increasing north of Levin this evening.
Buller and Westland
Cloud gradually increasing and a few showers developing north of Greymouth.
Marlborough, Nelson, Canterbury, North Otago and Central Otago
Fine and frosty.
Dunedin, Clutha, Southland and Fiordland
Mostly cloudy. A few showers, retreating to the coast this morning.
