Gisborne to Wairarapa, also Wellington, Horowhenua Kapiti Coast, and Nelson
Mainly fine, but showers near the ranges. Westerly gales developing in exposed places this afternoon.
Marlborough, Canterbury, North and Central Otago
Mainly fine, but brief afternoon or evening showers.
Buller, Westland and Fiordland, also Dunedin, Clutha and Southland
