Northland to Taranaki, including Coromandel
Showers clearing in the morning and becoming fine.
Bay of Plenty and the central high country
Fine with frosts at first.
Wanganui to Wellington
Mainly fine, but the odd shower possible in the morning.
Gisborne, Hawkes Bay and Wairarapa
Showers about Wairarapa and along the coasts of Hawkes Bay and Gisborne, clearing in the morning or early afternoon and becoming fine throughout.
Nelson, Marlborough, Canterbury, Otago and Southland
Mainly fine, but frosts at first inland and showers about Banks Peninsula clearing.
Buller, Westland, Fiordland
Mainly fine, but drizzle developing in the evening.
