The grey clouds have dispersed and the sun is beginning to shine. No wind. Temperature is 21 and rising.

Late again. had to "send off" a very ancient lady of 96. It has been a great day. Plenty of blue sky and the temperature down in Hastings was about 22 °. Now here in Wairoa the clouds are coming in and a slight breeze.

The rain seems to have past on after dropping plenty over night. Even had a brief thunder storm for a while. The clouds still cover the blue and a slight breeze from the south. 16°
