Daniel Tobin, the cameraman was the one I think, with the woman reporter who raced outside during the earthquake and filmed the horrific damage and people injured, trapped and crushed cars with tremours still happening. Was that the Feb or March earthquake? Anyway, a lot cleared out, more to come but you don't know which are staying. Some old proud buildings there still. Thanks.

Yes Daniel Tobin is The Press video guy and has done a lot of videos.
There is reports coming on each day regarding buildings that is either closed down till strengthening is done or they are going to be pulled down. I have not been into the town at all as do not wish to see what has happened to all our lovely buildings and also not been out Sumner way to see the devastation there either - as I get all the photos and info sent to me anyway. It is heart breaking too look at those too.
