All the North Island, also Nelson and Marlborough
Fine in most places. Patchy morning and evening drizzle in eastern Bay of Plenty and a few showers developing about eastern Northland this afternoon.
Canterbury
Mainly fine, but scattered rain developing in South Canterbury this evening.
Buller
Cloud increasing and drizzle developing this afternoon.
Westland
Showers, turning to rain this afternoon, with some heavy falls later.
Fiordland
Rain becoming heavier this morning, then clearing this evening.
Otago and Southland
Fine at first. A period of rain spreading north this afternoon and evening.
