Bonus Draw 1447 - 28 February
So . . . .  week 5 of round 6.
Right now, hotcop, mark, JennyLeez & Hank are leading the way,
with Babs, David, & Smudge in mid field, and a bunch of us in the trailing pack.

    Will anyone new jump in to play ?
    Wonder what this weeks number will be ?
    Who will make a dash for the front ? or jump out of the dust at the back ?
    What will Valerie's strategy be this week ?
    .... so many questions ....

So, how does it work?
In simple terms, try to pick the bonus number.
Guess this week’s Lotto Bonus Number and gain 5 points, or 3 points for one either side.
For our International members & those who are unfamiliar,
the Bonus number is part of the NZ Lotto Draw every Saturday night at 8pm.
Here is a link to give you an idea: Lotto Results (http://www.lottoresults.co.nz/)

So, who is going to  twitch & jump out of the chasing pack this week??

General Rules
You may chose up to 3 numbers each week from 1 to 40.
You may pick the same number another member picks.
You may also pick the same number more than once giving you the chance to extend your points in a week, e.g. 24, 24 and 24 or 24, 24 and 39.
This will not be fixed so you will need to post your picks weekly.
The first member to reach 20 points will win Scratchy Tickets.
Any picks posted after Saturday 8:00 pm will be ignored.

Results

Last nights Bonus Number was (http://wairoa.net/images/lotto/17.gif)

And no one picked it !!
However 3 of us were lucky enough to pick a one off,
with Valerie & Smudge snagging a left side & Rex a right.

So Smudge has nudged out ahead by a nose & leads the pack on 6 points.
Hot on her heels is a group of 4 on 5 points, followed by another quartet on 3.
And there is still a bunch of us yet to open our accounts.

bett just missed out by picking a 2 off,
( & has the unfortunate stat of leading the near misses count - 3 times - but I won't mention that   ;D )
Valerie decided to abandoned her recent tactics, & came out with points !!

Player count was a somewhat disappointing    12

and yes correct, now you know why I was thinking of flagging it Wolfie. A couple of weeks of 8 only and time consuming.
Maybe we need a better prize. You could offer a 50" TV for 1st. A Play station for 2nd and a Dinner set for 3rd maybe  :D

And even better than Valeries suggestion a while back of a choccy box for the winner each week.  ;D

I don't recall you offering any spending allowance . . . .
I'm struggling enough already, but could perhaps rake up enough for a few wine gums ??
