Title: Cricket World Cup - Match 2 - Australia vs England - 14 Feb 14:30 pm Aus Time

All righty then!! Game 2 and the Poms face up to the Aussies at Melbourne.
Rules Pick a winner for the game & you will gain 3 points. If the game is delayed for any reason & has to be replayed on a reserve day, your picks will carry over. If the game ends as a draw, you will be awarded 1 point. If the game is not completed for any reason whatsoever, you will gain 1 point. Your picks need to be in reasonably promptly, so any received after kick off will be ignored . . . probably!!
The Aussies beat the United Arab Emirates in a canter the other day (and they should have too!), & had a comfortable win over India almost a week ago.
The Poms lost a close game to Pakistan a few days ago but cleaned up the West Indies fairly easily a few days before.
Come on, get into it, pick the winner.

Well, quite a game this one !!
England won the toss & put the Aussies in to bat. What were they thinking?? 6 of the top 8 Aussie batsmen scored at a fast clip, Finch amassing a century, & half centuries for Bailey & Maxwell An interesting end to the Aussie innings, a hat trick by Englands Steve Finn with the final 3 balls. He ended with a five wicket haul. So, 342 for 9, a scoring rate of 6.84 per over & a big ask for England.
England were always under the pump in their innings, not able to score at the required rate, or build partnerships. Mitchell Marsh took care of most of the upper & middle order & ended with five wickets. At one stage he had the figures of 7 overs 5 wickets for 18 runs.
