Mostly cloudy with isolated showers, clearing tonight.
Auckland to Taranaki, also Coromandel, Bay of Plenty and Taupo
Cloudy with patchy drizzle, clearing this morning and becoming fine.
Gisborne and Hawkes Bay
Rain easing to isolated showers this morning.
Wanganui, Taihape, Manawatu, and Wairarapa
Rain clearing early morning, followed by fine spells.
Kapiti and Wellington, also Marlborough and Canterbury
Remaining showers clearing early morning, then becoming fine.
Nelson, Buller and Westland, also Otago, Southland and Fiordland
Mainly fine, but cloudy periods and isolated morning showers about the south coast.
Chatham Islands
Rain easing to a few showers this morning, then clearing this afternoon.
