Northland and Auckland
Fine apart from isolated afternoon showers in Northland.
Coromandel Peninsula and Bay of Plenty
Isolated showers clearing early morning then fine spells. However, drizzle patches developing east of Whakatane at night.
Waikato to Kapiti, including the central high country
Fine, apart from a few areas of morning and evening cloud.
Gisborne to Wairarapa, also Wellington
Fine weather.
Buller and Westland
Mainly fine. Cloudy periods increasing in the evening, and drizzle developing south of the Glaciers at night.
Fiordland
Cloudy, with drizzle developing this morning, turning to rain at night.
Nelson, and Marlborough to Southland
Fine and warm with a few spots of evening rain for Southland.
Chatham Islands
Fine weather.
