Showers and cold southerlies developing this morning. Showers easing about Wellington in the evening.
Nelson
Morning cloud, then fine.
Buller and Westland
Rain clearing before dawn and becoming fine.
Marlborough and Canterbury
Showers and cold southwesterlies, with snow to 600 metres. Clearing from the south this evening.
Otago, Southland and Fiordland
Showers with snow to 400 metres and southwest gales. Showers easing and clearing this afternoon and the winds easing.
Chatham Islands
Showers and cold southwesterlies developing this morning.
