Northland
Fine spells and isolated showers.
Remainder of the North Island
Mostly fine, but isolated showers during afternoon and evening, mainly about the central high country. Cloud increasing in most places tonight, with patchy drizzle about Kapiti Coast.
Nelson, Marlborough and Canterbury
Fine.
Buller
Mainly fine, apart from patchy morning drizzle.
Westland and Fiordland
Patchy drizzle, clearing in Westland late morning followed by fine spells. Drizzle turning to rain in Fiordland this evening.
Southland and Otago
Mostly fine with evening high cloud. Rain developing about Stewart Island late tonight.
Chatham Islands
Fine.
