Title: Forecast in Brief for Saturday 27th September 2014

The northern half of the North Island, that's Taranaki, Taupo and Bay of Plenty northwards
A few drizzle patches, turning to rain in Northland during the evening and elsewhere at night.

Gisborne and Hawkes Bay
Fine with high cloud.

Wanganui and Taihape to Wellington, also Wairarapa
Mostly fine, but showers about the Tararua Ranges. Rain developing at night.

Nelson and Marlborough
Few showers developing in the morning, turning to widespread rain during the afternoon with some heavy falls.

Canterbury
Patchy rain clearing early morning, but returning in the afternoon, with persistent heavier falls about North Canterbury. Snow lowering to 600 metres at night.

Buller and Westland
Rain, with heavy falls, clearing Westland afternoon or evening.

Otago, Southland and Fiordland
Scattered showers developing in the morning, and snow lowering to 600 metres.

Chatham Islands
Mostly cloudy, drizzle possible.
