Northland, Auckland and Coromandel Peninsula
Mostly cloudy with a few showers, especially in the north and east.
Western and central areas from Waikato and Bay of Plenty down to Wellington
Fine, apart from areas of cloud morning and evening, mainly north of Taupo.
Gisborne and Hawkes Bay
Mostly cloudy, with a few showers.
Wairarapa
Often cloudy, with patchy drizzle morning and evening.
For all the South Island
Fine in most places. However, areas of cloud or fog morning and evening, and cloud lingering about Foveaux Strait.
Chatham Islands
Generally cloudy.
