Northland, Auckland and Coromandel Peninsula
Cloudy periods. Isolated showers in the north and east.
From Waikato and Bay of Plenty down to Wellington
Fine, apart from areas of cloud, mainly morning and again tonight.
Gisborne to Wairarapa
Mostly cloudy, with patchy drizzle, especially north of Wairoa.
For all the South Island
Mainly fine, but areas of cloud or fog morning and again tonight. A few light showers about coastal Southland, clearing late morning.
Chatham Islands
Mostly cloudy, with the odd light shower.
