This also is magnified to an extreme. Meaning it is an extreme close up :)
If you have seen any of this set of magnified ones on the Web, that a member has sent in, please dont answer. The fun of the game is the weird/funny guesses.

Looks like skin with fur around it....what of, I am not sure.
I'll go with the skin of a rodent.

A white butterfly
A hairy caterpillar with white dots on its skin

So that's ruling out a spiders, scorpions, mites etc? 'cos them's arachnids, not insects (when you get down to it - 8 legs not 6, and some other things...)
I still haven't a clue, looked like the hair in my old woodwork teacher's ear....

and no, not in the wild in New Zealand to my knowledge.
