Title: Rangiora High Street closures -
Post by: Suezy on March 11, 2012, 08:59:29 PM
PULLEY'S: Four businesses are homed in The Pulley's building.

The Pulley's building in High St was closed last night after engineers found significant defects in its structure.

The building houses four businesses - Jaks Rangiora, Farm to Farm Tours, Rangiora House of Travel and the Rangiora Dental Centre.

A neighbouring business, Postie Plus, has also been forced to move.

Jaks Rangiora is relocating to a space above Coffee Culture on the corner of Victoria and High streets and Farm to Farm Tours is moving in with Compass FM in the Manchester Unity building.

The Rangiora Dental Centre and Postie Plus are looking for new premises.

Jaks Rangiora owner Karina Skerten said she was disappointed about the relocation but had been overwhelmed with support from businesses and residents.

The Pulley's building is the latest in a spate of earthquake-related building closures in Rangiora.

Robbie's Bar & Bistro was closed in January, the Lambert building, which houses five businesses, was shut early last month and Rangiora Farmers closed last Friday.

All the buildings are in High St.
