A big red button (BRB), sometimes called a big red switch (BRS), is a real or fictional button with ... Firing or detonating a weapon, typically a nuclear device. :)

Its one of those buttons that does everything, no matter where you are you just stick it on the wall and press it and amazing things happen, like waiters turn up, taxies arrive, your mail gets delivered to your table etc., I must get me one before someone presses it to get the men in white coats to turn up and take me away!!!

I will go with Hank. We all need one of these.....lol

No to all those crazy ideas.

The photo would be the size of it, so maybe a bit bigger than what you are thinking.
Hint:
Pushing the red button will do nothing especially ejecting family members  :D

Can we have a hint please?

Is it indoor or outdoor?

So it's a useless big red button?

So if its not a button it must be a light of some kind

Yes you could take it apart but in normal use you would not.
What you see is the 'whole' as so to speak.

The red button does nothing whatsoever.

Indoor or out door?  Both, but would probably be used more out door.
Something you would not use regularly only on certain occasions.

I knew this one would have you guys and it is so obvious once you know :)

Yep I thought that too, but not sure why or how you would use that inside. Maybe JL means inside a glasshouse or something.

If so the red pop up bit is fancy schmancy. Maybe it's red because it is hot water lol

Q: is it something that most houses will have?

Title: Re: What is it - Object 18
Post by: JennyLeez on December 25, 2013, 09:52:09 PM
No to sprinkler.

Most homes would have these although not used so much anymore. Now a days other 'thingies' are used instead.

In fact Gabba this is something you may have used during your last week of tiki touring around say 20 years ago. Now that is a big HINT....lol

Definitely can be used inside and outside of house to qualify that.

More likely outside. But in saying this, it is also misleading  ;D

I am stumped on this one! Can't recall seeing anything like this....

It looks art deco...from the sixties or seventies.

Is this a side view or topside view?

Well done for guessing this one Babs.
Its looking down on the top of the thermos flask which screws off. The flask is underneath.

Good one huh :)
