Title: Local Weather Chat November 2013 Week 1
Post by: JennyLeez on November 03, 2013, 12:24:10 AM
Discuss the current or recent weather in your region or elsewhere for this week 3rd to the 9th of November.

Rain for the West of the SI Monday, West of the NI Tuesday and across the middle of the NI Wednesday/Thursday. So a watering for most this week.

Enjoy your week and your golf :)

Toronto / Pickering - Canada
Saturday, Nov 2 2013

OK......We all survived Halloween and soon many dentists are gonna be happy as well when the 'Candy Affect' on the kids' teeth will have its outcome...  :)

Halloween was warm this year (+ 16 C) but very wet (daily rain of 20+ mm).
We're still in a jojo weather pattern, with once in a while the infamous Autumn Storms where November started with on Friday...!!!
On Nov 1, (Friday) we measured wind gusts of 80 - 100 km/h...... (A helpful tool to easily clean up your outdoor Halloween decorations....  ;D  ;D )
Temperature is quickly going down for the first days of November, but halfway the week we'll see again the + 14 C........

Current Conditions:

Temperature:
High: 11.3 C       Low: 8.4 (  (Currently at 11:00AM)
Humidity: 84%
Precipitation: 1 mm
Winds: NNE   ~ 8km/h with Gusts up to 25 km/h
Baro: 1005 mb

Fortunately the temperature still 'sticks' to the + sign, otherwise we would have seen all the rain from Thursday in the form of the terrible "S-Word"........ (Snow)....
Hopefully we'll stay away from that for a while...... >:(

Cheers,
Arthur
