Norfolk Island 9 September 2013 11:25pm
We were falling asleep and the bright light was bright enough to wake us. We saw light through the gaps in the curtains and It was bright enough to shine through the curtains. It was as bright as a full moon – so must have been white light. It was very quick, by the time we were out of bed it was all over
We thought the light was flickering
Must have been space junk or a hunk of rock burning up over Norfolk Island – A Fire ball???
I know we don’t have any car lights in our backyard….and this was sudden and super-fast.
I’m sure I heard a noise same time as the light,
It was a clear starry night.
It would be interesting to know if anyone saw it who was outside at the time.

Hi Bett,
I am pleased whatever it was missed you.
Do let us know tomorrow what it was.
Very weird for sure.
Cheers
