Mainly fine this morning but with some ominous looking clouds above the Kaimai's to the West and the North West and the odd bit of cloud scudding through on the increasingly gusty SW Breeze. (23 km/hr at 6:00 to 45 km/hr at 12:00) Dipped just a tad after 12:00 but got to its Max gust today of 56 km/hr at 13:46 which was the top of the mountain this afternoon from where it descended to 27 km/hr by 18:00 and has bounced around between that and 35 km/hr since then.  It actually stayed fine until about 17:45 with quite regular showers building on the Kaimai's out west and then working their way up the range, well until I decided to go and do something outside anyway when you guessed it, a dirty big shower built to the South and South West and drove me back inside, the only one that actually got to us all day.  Wind Direction - South West with a change in variations from South to West, finished the day more towards West than South.  The Barometer has risen all day but quite slowly from 996.6 hPa at 1:08 to be currently sitting on 1003.8 hPa and now rising at a bit better rate of +0.8 hPa/hr.  Outdoor humidity thinks it is summer again with a low of 56% at 14:16 and a high of just 91%, a full day under 99%, bring on Summer.
