Today started with some high cloud and sun but it did not take long before it started to head south.  The cloud thickened up progressively as the day went past and by 3:30pm the gas heater had to be cranked into use in the office as my fingers and toes were starting get seriously chilled.  15.9c at 10:23 this morning was as good as it got today which is somewhat down on the 18 - 20+c temperatures achieved over the last few days.  Mainly light winds (max 23 km/hr late morning) starting as a pretty weak Southerly but moving to an increasingly solid Easterly from around 10:am.  Barometer has bounced around in the 1031.7 to 1028.8 hPa range today but the general trend has been ever so slightly downward which I guess is indicative of the Sub Tropical Low headed our way over the next 2 - 3 days.  Humidity has also been acting a bit more like it is winter ranging between 64% and 99%.  Looks like the next few days could be a bit damp!
