(Haven't posted weather reports because I've been in Christchurch since Sunday).

Lovely sunny day with the temperature climbing to 16.8°. A SSW breeze with the odd strong gust. No rain this week and the soggy ground is starting to firm up with grass growth quite vigorous.

Finally a Sunny day (max temp 16.5 at 14:39), no need for the Heater in the office until after 4:30pm this afternoon when the sun slipped behind the bank of cloud along the Kaimai Range that had been there all day and which according to one of our staff had been the cause of him not being able to complete all his work today.  Wind predominantly from the SW but with a couple of round the clock excursions at Midnight and around 6am.  Not that much wind all day but somehow we managed a max gust of 38 km/hr at 14:45.  Barometer in the 1009 to 1016 range all day with most of the rise after 18:00.  Forecast says three fine and sunny days in a row . . . will we see or will the forecast be another Tui add?
