Title: ^^Rain Watch^^ June 2013
Post by: JennyLeez on June 05, 2013, 11:45:32 AM
Keep us informed concerning any Rainfall Events during June across New Zealand, especially at your own location. A weather Station is not necessary, looking out the window usually will suffice :)

"Since the drought was broken we've certainly had our fair share of wet fronts and lows and also cold conditions over southern districts" says Mr Green. "It's almost like we're making up for lost time - what we didn't get for a few months is now taking aim at us fully and perhaps it's not all over and done with yet as we've only just squeaked into winter".

Due to a very large and persistent resident engineer issue (Very Big Black Spider)with my Rain gauge it continues to remain off line.  My manual Rain gauge is not however afflicted with this issue and is working very well.

Ohauiti Rainfall Data:
Sunday 16th June 2013 - 56.7mm
Monday 17th June 2013 - 2.7mm (to 13:43)
