Only a brief spit in town near sunrise, rapid clearance. Sunny since 8.30. This evening is problematical, depending on whether there's a SW or S change.

Port Robinson, North Canterbury 9.30am

Fine morning. Temperature 10.3° after a low of 8.1°. Expecting a high of around 13°.
Variable wind from the SE with the strongest gust of 22kmh half an hour ago. 0.2mm of rain recorded since midnight.

Reefton @ 1230
cold and raining.
currently 6.9°C and getting colder.
temp maxed out at 9.5°C just before 11am when the sun made an appearance for 10mins or so.
5.2mm of rain recorded.
a light SE breeze blowing.

update: temp dropping at work. currently 3.5°C with a few flakes of snow reported. we're at ~550m above sea level.
in town no noticeable drop yet. still hovering at 7°C.
