Port Robinson, North Canterbury 8.35am

Overcast sky with slight drizzle. Temperature 12.1° and remaining pretty steady with the predicted high of 17° unlikely to be reached. Heavier rain expected later in the day. Only 0.8mm fallen so far over the last 24hrs. Wind from WNW with the strongest gust over the last hour clocked at 12.9kmh.
