OK........When you love sailing.....Pick-up your boat and drop it in Lake Ontario..!!! You'll make the 220 km to the end in NO time......
We're hammered by (already) 2 days of nasty, nasty winds (30/35 to 60/65 km/h).....
Indeed nice when you want to sail around the Lake in summer, but NOT when the temperatures have dropped to February levels ( + 1 C) meaning the Apparent Temp is around - 5 C (overnight it was - 11 C)....
Current Conditions:
Temp: 1.6 C
Apparent Temp: - 5 C
Sky: Mix of Sun and Clouds
Precipitation: None (Although we saw some Snow Flurries today.. >:( >:(
Humidity: 50%
Baro: 1015 mb
Wind: Ridiculous..!!! 30 - 50 km/h NNW
As I've mentioned in previous threads, those NW / NNW winds pick-up relatively "warm" water from the Great Lakes surrounding us, still causing (IN APRIL) major 'bands' of SNOW FLURRIES.........
Still a few more days to go, before in the weekend, the Temp will go up to an acceptable + 9 C.....
Cheers,
Arthur

Overcast with rain likely in the next hour or two. One can hardly complain, after a clutch of sunshine records has been set in the last couple of months or so - including the sunniest Jan-Mar period here.
