West Midlands UK - Saturday 23rd March.
The local town is effectively closed with snow drifts and cars abandoned from Friday night.
Only the major roads are open, but of course you have to get on and off them !
I walked into town (suitably attired) and what few shops that were trading were closing @ 14:00.
The normally busy market had one veggie stall and one enterprising chancer selling fibreglass sleds. They both closed by 13:30.
... and it's still snowing (20:00)
