Port Robinson, North Canterbury 8.55am

Overcast with light rain. 35mm so far since midnight with a further 35.2mm yesterday. Should green things up nicely for a while. Temperature a cool 9.4° which is the low. Predicted to get to 15°, I'd take about 3 degrees off that. Wind from the SW gusty at times. Max gust in the last hour of 17kph.

Coolish morning here and feels like winter rather than Autumn and with the rain received yesterday and overnight it could have helped the fire danger risk to demise somewhat.

Bad and Nasty Weather..........
Just recorded 4 cm of Snow, now mixed with Ice Pellets and Drizzle Rain....  >:(
The Good News: It's climbing above 'zero', meaning Rain rather than Snow...!!!!

Apparent Temp: - 4.7 C
Precipitation: + 4 cm Snow / Drizzle Rain
Humidity: 100%
Wind: Strong SE Winds, Gusting up to 35 km/h (Max today 55 km/h) resulting in "Horizontal-Snow"..  :)
Sky: Cloudy - Overcast

The coming days it will be around + 2 C, not much of a real 'Spring Welcome'...!!
Not until the the weekend before we see the temp climbing to 'normal' values, around + 5 C...
