It might sound 'strange' when the Apparent Temp is - 5 C to say: "The weather is great"... :)
But...it is.
Blue Skies and Sunshine. (On my deck, in a 'protected' area and sitting in the Sun, you feel "Spring is in the Air" when the Sun finally gains strength everyday!!).

Fine with high cloud. Temperature 17.6° after a low of 13.1°. Expecting a high of around 20°. Showers expected later in the day. Brisk WSW wind. Max gust in the last hour was 25.7kph. No rain over the past 24hrs.

So much for predicted highs! We reached 27.4° at 12.27pm. Met Service guessed at 22 (for 70km up the road) and I took a couple of degrees off that which is usually pretty close. It's now dropped back to 20.7° with the wind turning from NW to Northerly. Fine and sunny with no sign of the predicted change, though it looks like it's blowing southerly in Timaru now.
