Clear skies and calm. Sun record for Feb. will be easily beaten. If it shines all day, it will also be the highest % of the possible ever recorded here - more than a century of recording if older sites are included.

OK, we 'survived' the Storm
Eventually it started around Midnight with heavy snow........
Due to increasing temperatures it turned out into the characteristic 4 "S" (#&@%ty, Slushy, Sloppy Snow.. :) )
In combination with a strong wind, very nasty!!
All and all I recorded around 8 cm of snow, the rest came down in Rain...
I broke my back in shoveling the drive way, since the Wet Snow is extremely heavy...!!!
Current Conditions at 6:00PM:
Temp: + 1.4 C
Apparent Temp: - 0.5 C
Precipitation: Mix of Snow flurries and Rain.
Wind: Calm
Baro: 1003 mb (dropped from 1010mb at midnight)
Rainfall today: 10.4 mm (And that's a LOT better than Snow.. :)
Cheers,
Arthur
