Wellington's (manual equipment) is 245.4 to the 25th, should be about 256 to 26th. The record Feb. value in 1946 (city readings go back to 1907) is 267.4 hours. Re NP tally, I've made a comment in the "rainfall, rain days, ..." section.

Cloud has not lifted as predicted and with the temp hovering just above 17° it's not likely to get any higher.
Very little wind. The cloud is pretty solid up the east coast from ChCh north to Kaikoura from observation. (just driven that stretch).
