Port Robinson, North Canterbury 8.20am

Overcast and cool. Temperature 13.9° after a low of 12.8° with a predicted high of 23°. Light WSW wind at a couple of kmh. Max gust in the last hour 11.3kph.

Sunny and cloudy areas with easterly breezes, winds tend a little more southeast about Gisborne. Chance of a morning shower in Northland.
HIGHS: 24-27, 23 in Gisborne

Lower North Island
Mostly sunny weather with light winds, northeasterly breezes along the east coast.
HIGHS: 23-26

Upper South Island
Mostly sunny weather with light winds after any morning cloud clears, afternoon sea breezes in coastal areas.
HIGHS: 23-26, 27-30 about some inland areas and Amuri

Lower South Island
Mostly sunny weather with light winds after any morning cloud clears, afternoon sea breezes in coastal areas.

Norfolk Island, still gusty winds 30 knots for a few days and good swells rolling in from the E. Swells up to 5m Tuesday and Wednesday, having fun with my camera....
It was been fine for Australian Day weekend, just the odd spilt of rain blown through
