In town it's 25.0°C with 35% humidity and no breeze.
At work (470m above sea level) it's 21.3°C with 31% humidity and no breeze - got the Vaisala XT520 weather station up and running, though it's not working correctly yet as it's not recording rainfall.
Once we get that working, I'll see what I can do about realtime weather obs as at the moment it only transmits every hour.

Observation for 23rd December 2012:
Another very warm and humid day in the Bay of Plenty today. Weather today was from that very unpredictable SE quarter, it is a bit of a lucky draw as we can get anything from brilliantly fine and sunny to bucketing down with rain and freezing cold. Quite unusual today in that there was a reasonably high cloud base pretty much all day, however we had two periods of quite large and sparse raindrops but just 0.9mm recorded, could see all the Kaimai’s and the Papamoa hills to the SE quite clearly but it was raining, almost like the humidity was condensing and just falling out of the sky at random. Still humid and sticky tonight (87% and 20.04C), looks like another uncomfortable night in the scratcher ahead of us all here.
Current Recordings at 23:59
Temp: 20.4c Going Down, Humidity 87%, Rain: 0.90mm, Average Wind Speed (10 Mins) 5km/h SE, Pressure 1016.1 hPa and Rising.

Sunday's national forecast
Posted by wwadmin on Sun, 23/12/2012 - 05:00
An anticyclone lies over the South Island today bringing mainly settled conditions. Ex tropical cyclone Evan sits just north of Northland dragging cloud over the North Island and some rain about northeastern coastlines.
Upper North Island
Cloudy and humid with southeasterly breezes a bit brisk at times mainly out east, some rain north of Coromandel mainly in the east. About Gisborne expect showers. Rain may become a little more widespread overnight.
HIGHS: 24-27, 21 in Gisborne
Lower North Island
High cloud for most, winds from the east on the east coast and tending southerly in the west. The odd shower may affect Hawkes Bay but generally dry elsewhere.
HIGHS: 26-28 in the west, 23-25 on the east coast and about Wellington.
Upper South Island
Areas of cloud morning and night with sunny breaks by day, winds generally light tending easterly in the east and southwesterly in the west.
HIGHS: 19-20 on the West Coast. Low 23-25 for Nelson, Canterbury and Marlborough.
Lower South Island
Mostly sunny weather can be expected with some cloud about coastal areas mainly morning and night. Westerlies a little breezy about the Southland coastline. There may also be some drizzle in southern parts of Fiordland.
HIGHS: 18-22 , mid 20’s inland

The rain bands associated with ex tropical cyclone Evan are sitting just offshore to the east of Auckland. Some rain is getting into eastern Northland, Coromandel and western Bay Of Plenty. This evening or overnight some rain will finally make it’s way a little further westwards.
The above is what WeatherWatch.co.nz has been forecasting today, and as we predicted all last week, the heavy rain is looking to be fragmented and broken up. A dry day with a greater chance of showers later today looks to be more an accurate portrayal of how the weather has turned out in our largest city.
Use the weather maps at WeatherWatch.co.nz to help plan your days coming up, and read the latest weather news on the WeatherWatch.co.nz website. Also take note of warnings from government forecaster Metservice to help plan ahead if you are anywhere north of Auckland over the coming days.
Wellington Fog
5:33pm - Just In - Air NZ cancels all flights in and out of Welington airport, please go to airline/airport website for details.
In regards to fog about Wellington Airport, saturation levels will be high for the rest of today and tomorrow. Tomorrow may see low cloud lift a little but skies will likely still be very cloudy with a chance of drizzle mainly morning and evening so it would be wise to be prepared incase fog hinders travel plans again. Keep up to date with any flight cancellations at http://www.wellingtonairport.co.nz
