Observation: For the third day in a row we have started the day with some decent cloud and today we actually had some "rain" although it lasted only about 10 seconds but did not even dampen the outside carpet, and this happened twice before 9am this morning. Based on the current pattern we may very well get two 20 second bursts of "Rain" the day after tomorrow (Sunday). As for both the last two days normal service was resumed not too long after 10:00am, sunny and that West/South West breeze continued to dry out the landscape, and oh the dust clouds! Beautiful Sunset tonight so another fine one tomorrow I guess?
Current Recordings: Temp: 13.6c Going down, Humidty 65%, Rain: 0.0 mm, Average Wind Speed (10 Mins) 15km/h SW, Pressure 1013.5 hPa Rising. NOTE: It would appear that my Station had a spaz this afternoon. The current Rain, peak Wind gust and Apparent Temperature reading on my website are incorrect, will fix the data tomoorrow.

There is some sun to be found around New Zealand today. There is also plenty of cloud cover. Not to mention the odd shower or two.
But it seems there’s one thing most Kiwis can agree on; it's windy.
People in Auckland, Christchurch, Hamilton, Stratford and Palmerston North all checked in on our Facebook page today, telling us that it is windy where they are.
A bit of rain has been reported around about the lower and upper North Island.
Oh yeah, and it’s a wee bit chilly too. Although Kylie Cochrane in Invercargill said that it’s not as cold as she expected.
1pm Temperatures
Dunedin 11
Invercargill 12
Christchurch 12
Wellington 13
Taupo 14
Auckland 18
Tauranga 19
Hamilton 19
