Observation: Bit of a change in the weather pattern today, well at least for the morning anyway, some nice heavy dark gray and black clouds about but they only generated about six spots of rain but the kaimai's around Apata got some later showers, so much for the forecast 3 - 5 hours of light rain promised. With the stronger than expected West to South West Winds over the last few days the drying effects are becoming very evident and the neighbouring dairy farmer exclaimed today the 2 more months of this and they won't be milking, we have only had 25mm of rain this month so a decent dollop is now very urgently required. That pesky West to South West Wind was around today strong enough to wip up the dust off the mountains of dirt on our Building site for the fourth day in a row.
Current Recordings: Temp: 13.6c Going down, Humidty 76%, Rain: 0.0 mm, Average Wind Speed (10 Mins) 7 km/h SW, Pressure 1013.0 hPa Rising.
