Much of the country is enjoying plenty of sunshine this afternoon but it's not perfect everywhere.
Our facebook readers have had a bit to say on the subject...
Karyn says it's hot and sunny in South Wairarapa and Marie mentioned that it's wall to wall sunshine in Hamilton.
"Cloudy morning, but starting to be a beautiful day in Gizzy!" according to Jo and Mel was lapping it up in the lower North Island " Nice spring day in Lower Hutt :) Just a slight breeze with SUNSHINE!".
However the far south hasn't seen the sun for very long today " raining in good old Southland (Mataura) and temperature dropping" said Keywee and Sally was in agreement about Southland's weather today" Liquid sunshine here in Southland :( Nothing like the last couple of awesome days!!!".
The riviera of the south is enjoying warm and sunny skies commented one local "It is beautiful and hot here in Timaru. Not a cardi in sight".
Back up north and Helen was happy to report "Fabulous in Manurewa! Great place to be...go walk in the Botanical Gardens!".
We've had updates from Wanganui, Tauranga and Christchurch all saying how the weather is picture perfect this afternoon.
Sea breezes are likely over many coastal areas this afternoon with bright skies however the far south and the West Coast could see a few more splashes.
