I have been offered a weather station to pass on to anybody that might need/want one. It is a "Digitech professional wireless weather station with computer interface" so it is just a cheap chinese clone - but the price is right.
Anyone who is interested let me know - if there is too much interest we might have to have a competition for it :D
-
What price are you looking for, I might have a home for it in Gisborne if the price is right
-
I also know someone who might be interested
-
The price is nothing - somebody up here ended up with two thanks to an insurance stuff up, has asked me if I know of anyone that would like it.
I would prefer it goes into an area that is not already well covered on our map and that it is hooked up to a PC so that it can contribute to the map.

Then Phil is your man. I will nudge him back here :)
-
Do you know if it works with Cumulus?
-
What area are you looking at Choc-a-holic?
We need more down the west coast :)
-
Hey, I am very interested in getting one into Gisborne, I have a location for it to go to so hopefully I am the lucky one, please advise me if I am
Cheers Phil

Sorry cannot help you with the West Coast. The person I was thinking of is in Richmond, however they could not keep their weather station online fulltime as they off grid. I will let you know if I hear of anyone on the West Coast.
-
Any decision been made on this offer?
-
I'm going to pick up the station this weekend, at this stage you could say you are definitly in the running Phil ;)
So unless someone from one of those big holes on the west coast sticks their virtual hand up.....
-
Well I now have the station here, box has been opened but unit looks unused. I think everything is there but there were a couple of nuts/bolts floating around in the box so can't guarantee.... - if there are some missing you can ask for a refund I guess ;D
Send me a PM with an address to send it to Phil.
