Fine morning with high cloud. Temperature 9.9° after a low of 7.2°. Wind from WNW  at around 6kmh.

No wind, frosty. Temperature 2.4C, barometer 1008.1hPa, humidity 99%. High cloud. Sun trying to peek through.

Tokoroa - 9:40am

Overnight low of 3.3deg was before midnight at 9:30pm otherwise 4.4deg at midnight was the day recorded low. The sky started clouding over after 9:30pm last night with temp steadily rising to 8.8deg by 9:40am.
An ESE of 8km/hr has just turned to ENE of 3km/hr by 9am.
A cloudy day with drizzly periods likely to change to showers by late afternoon. 
Rain expected tonight.

Waitakere

It is officially quite nasty here now, wind is strengthening and we just had a blustery shower recording 0.8 mm at a maximum rate of 27.4 mm/hr - glad I got to the beach and back earlier when it was actually dry and only just a bit breezy. 
Our overnight low was 9.1°C, at 11.2°C now.

A cloudy morning for Howick after some clear patches first thing. It has been windy all night and has picked up this morning, gusting to 48 km/h. The overnight low was 10.6°C, now up to 13.1.

Ground extremely wet and boggy no lawns this weekend.

The weather has brightened up in Howick, the sun is doing it's best to peep through the clouds  :)

Unfortunately not the case up here in the Waitakeres....  we have a blustery northeaster and showers still, 12.1°C is the highest we've seen but currently it's 11.7°C with 3.4 mm rain so far.  Baro is dropping quickly too 1007.1 hPa now, going down by about 1.5 hPa per hour

a little foggy this morning, but that burnt off quickly.

We've had fairly heavy rain in Howick for the last hour, with 10mm in the last hour. It has eased back again now. The wind is not quite is strong as earlier either.

New Plymouth: was sunny until lunchtime, then clouded over. 14 degrees maximum, not much different now.
