Bit of cloud about that will likely burn off mid morning, temperature has climbed up to 5.8°C from a low of 4.6°C, high expected to be in the low teens today, but should be a sunny day.

Blue sky in abundance, sunshine and little wind. Temperature beginning to sneak up nicely now, but still has only reached 8.8°C - things are looking good though...

I have it all. Its pouring with rain. 14.4 rain rate. The sun shines and I have a faint rainbow against the black clouds.

It's an absolute pearler in Waitakere today. Just been at the beach, now basking in sunshine on the deck, where it is beautifully warm and perfectly offset by a cold beer.

A lovely evening after a great day - currently mostly clear sky, temperature 8.5°C and dropping. Today's high was 14.1°C

Mostly sunny north of the Waikato with light east to southeasterly winds and perhaps some cloud at times mainly in the east. Any early showers about eastern Northland clear.
Cloud north of Hawkes Bay along the east coast slowly breaking up during the day with light southeasterlies, any morning showers about Gisborne clear. Sunny over the rest of the North Island with light winds.
Temperatures in the mid teens for most although around 12 or 13 degrees along the east coast and in the Central North Island. Frosts again at night in sheltered inland areas.
Sunny in Nelson and along the east coast of the South Island today, expect north to northeasterly breezes. There may be some high cloud about Otago and Southland. Cloudy areas and perhaps a few sunny breaks along the West Coast with the risk of the odd shower at times, northeasterlies. High’s of 11 or 12 degrees for most.
